Top 10 Most Repurchased Japanese Beauty Products

I got asked a lot what are the must have Japanese beauty products that to stock up when you visit Japan. Having lived in Tokyo as a student and visiting Japan as a tourist for over 10 times, here are the top 10 Japanese Beauty Products that I repurchase again and again over the years:

1) Shiseido Integrate Eye Shadow

Integrate is a popular drugstore brand of Shiseido. It is the perfect combination of quality and price. I have been repurchasing this eyeshadow in many different colors for at least 6 years now. I love how this palette is already color coordinated and the gradation is very beautiful and subtle, making it very easy to apply. It is also very pigmented. My favourite color is BR302 (natural earth tone) which is great for everyday wear and PK204 (a very nature and sweet pink) perfect for a date :)

REVIEW: Does The SK-II Facial Treatment Essence Work?

I received a lot of questions on whether the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence actually works ever since I blogged about using it with the Hitachi Hada Crie beauty device. Therefore I have decided to do a separate review specifically on the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. This is my personal experience and maybe different from yours; however, I hope you would found it helpful and answer your questions on whether it works for not. (Note that this is not a sponsored review and I bought the SK-II Facial Treatment Essence with my own money.)

Folli Follie: Brand Discovery Series

Do you love jewellery as much as I do? I would never go out of the house without putting on a necklace/bracelet/rings/etc! One of my favourite brand is Folli Follie, and I am so glad that they have now opened a counter at Holt Renfew. I first got introduced to Folli Follie in Tokyo and I immediately fell in love with its unique, fun, but classy design! I have been a fan ever since. Back then Toronto didn't have its own Folli Follie, so I would visit a Folli Follie whenever I travel to other cities with a store. Afterall, why not pamper yourself to something you love when you travel rather than buying some character-lacking souvenirs?

Some of my Folli Follie collection!

(Update: Please also check out my Facebook page Japan Travel Tips on everything and anything you need to know about visiting Japan!)

Any Tokyo travel guide can help you find where the shopping malls are, but where do local Japanese girls like to shop in Tokyo for Japanese brands?
